Cosmetic Concerns

The providers of McComb Skin Clinic are attuned to cosmetic concerns such as acne, sun damage, rosacea, telangiectasia (spider veins), scarring, aging, loss of facial volume, hyper-pigmentation, wrinkles, stretchmarks, and unwanted tattoos, Dermatologists understand that skin care is not a one size fits all condition.  Our providers will specialize a treatment plan for your specific condition.  Such plans may include a variety and combination of treatments.

Individualized Treatment

The treatments provided include neurotoxin injections such as Dysport and Botox for wrinkles, dermal fillers such as Restylane and Juvederm for loss of facial volume, micro-needling for scar revision and to increase collagen production, prescription medicines and cosmeceutical products to restore a fresh and natural appearance, and the use of lasers specially designed for each individual issue.  We have laser specialists who address issues such as pigmentation concerns, broken blood vessels, rosacea, acne, stretch marks, scarring, tattoo removal, and unwanted hair growth.

Neuromodulators

  • A bottle of doxysporin on a black background.

A neuromodulator is an injectable drug that relaxes and softens the skin by restricting facial muscles from contracting. The effects of this can be reduced or erased wrinkles and facial contouring to provide a younger, refreshed appearance.

Botox and Dysport can be combined with other cosmetic treatments to achieve more comprehensive results. The two injectables are commonly combined with non-surgical treatments like dermal fillers.

Dermal fillers brands such as Juvederm and Restylane are gel-like substances made of hyaluronic acid that are injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines, and soften creases. This is a cost-effective and popular facial rejuvenation treatment that doesn’t involve surgery or down-time. Successful choice of product, a medical knowledge of the skin and anatomy and an artful eye are necessary to achieve a beautiful outcome.

These wounds stimulate your skin, kicking its healing process into high gear. Best of all, SkinPen doesn’t rely on heat or chemicals, so the results are natural and safe.

Laser Treatments

  • A woman getting a laser treatment.

McComb Skin Clinic offers laser services for hair reduction, rosacea, acne, telangiectasia, scar reduction, and skin resurfacing.  These services require a prior consultation to insure that the patient can benefit from the service provided.

According to the consultation, a device is explicitly chosen for the condition that is being addressed.  That laser is  administered by a skilled technician adept at its use.  We do not believe is a “one size fits all” approach for our patients.
